What if the things we saw online effected the way we saw the real world?

8th grader Ollie just discovered the power of “minting”. A minted image on the internet can appear visually in real life to the people who have seen the post online. A minting cannot effect the physical environment, but it can effect the people who see them.
When Ollie mints his dinosaur drawing, it turns out the dinosaur can run around like a real dinosaur! It feels like the perfect pet because Ollie doesn’t have to feed it or clean up after it, Ollie names the dinosaur Spike. Inspired by his connection with Spike and the ability to sell minting ownership, Ollie recruits his friends Dameon, Carlos, and Eric in attempting to create 10,000 mintings of “Castle Kid” artwork. The artwork represents their true friendship, but they also want to make money with it. The four 8th graders embark on an ambitious adventure that tests their friendship, teaches them about business, grows their artistic abilities, and shows them how powerful the internet can truly be. One thing for sure, they cannot accomplish their goals without more help…
