Five friends. A beautiful island. A death that doesn’t add up.

When visionary Danny Wilder is found dead on a remote island in the Atlantic, the five friends who loved him most travel there to celebrate his memory. But the longer they are together the less they feel sure they knew him at all.

There’s Joel—the loyal brother who kept Danny’s business shipshape, even as it sprung leaks around him. Alfie—the best mate who’s ready to leave pressure-cooker London behind altogether. Jenny—the sometimes lover, who never questions whether their relationship is one of equals. Clover—the wild girl on a collision course with settling down. And Lilah—the newcomer to the group who refuses to talk about her past.

Beneath the wild beauty of the island, old loyalties are fracturing. The closer the friends get to the truth about Danny, the more dangerous their own secrets become.

Some friendships aren’t built to survive the truth.
