Designation 'Thirteen', a light being living among the collective, was so curious about life on Earth he decided to try being a cat and reporting back with his findings.



Except that he found out that a male cat in his first mating season must pay attention to his surroundings. Only when a car took his life, he wasn't ready to go. His owner, Lacey, was a most interesting girl. He decided to repair and reanimate a recently deceased human and make his return.



It helped that the mind of his new body was so very knowledgeable--except that the sexy British spy apparently knew way too much. And for her part, Lacey can't believe she's part of the show.
