ROBERT M. PARKER, Circuit Judge: The plaintiffs brought this diversity action in federal district court, asserting claims for fraud, breach of contract, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and conspiracy. A jury awarded the plaintiffs compensatory and punitive damages on all of their claims. After the verdict, the district court granted judgment as a matter of law in favor of the defendants on the breach of contract claim, but entered judgment in favor of the plaintiffs on the remaining claims. The defendants timely appealed.
