Elmer Kime v. Carl Koch and Another. Wayne

Five actions in the district court for Mower county, consolidated for trial and heard together on appeal, to recover for injuries sustained by plaintiffs arising out of a collision between the auto of defendant Carl Koch, in which plaintiffs were riding as guests, and the car of defendant Frank McGreary. The cases were tried before Martin A. Nelson, Judge, and a jury, and the following verdicts returned for plaintiffs against both defendants: Elmer Kime, $8,000; Wayne Snell, $500; Arthur DeRaad, $15,000; Erwin L. Schmidt, $15,000; Edwin M. Hansen, $8,000. From an order denying his alternative motion for judgment or a new trial as to each case, defendant Koch appealed.
