Action in the Ramsey County District Court brought by Employers Liability Assurance Corporation, General Accident Fire & Life Assurance Corporation, Ltd., Home Insurance Company, London & Scottish Assurance Corporation, Ltd., Philadelphia Fire & Marine Insurance Company, and New York Underwriters Insurance Company to recover amounts which said plaintiffs had paid to their insured, Langevin Paint Supply Company, for damages sustained in a fire in a building owned by defendant, William A. Morse. The case was tried before Ronald E. Hachey, Judge, and a jury, which returned a verdict for plaintiffs for $16,932.76. The court ordered judgment for plaintiffs for $773 notwithstanding the verdict, and plaintiffs appealed from the judgment entered. AUTHOR: KNUTSON
