Eric Pugh is a probate clerk with a well established Blackburn firm of solicitors. He is devious and clever but also very personable and loyal. After amassing a large fortune by defrauding his firms clients he resolves to to go straight and with that his life changes drastically. His tale is of infatuation, murder, money laundering and jury tampering with a conclusion he never expected.
