Fire: The Element Series

Twelve kids were ripped away from their families and their lives and now they must run from the government, who plans to use them to take over the world. The government injected the kids with strange substances that gave them powers over the four elements: fire, water, earth, and air. With the help of a former secret agent, they strive to stay away from the government and control their new powers.
