From Homeless and Hungry to Wholeness and Helping

Domestic violence, rape, prison, homelessness, food insecurity, and cancer have given Yvette Carter the compassion and ability to minister to others. 


Read her heart-rending story of living in the streets, dealing drugs, and leaving her two young children with her mother when she was sent to prison for six years, followed by losing everything, being homeless, hungry and without hope. That despair drove her to beg for food at St. Paul, where she found God’s redeeming grace. Then God began to unravel her crazy life and give her the marriage and ministry He uniquely created her for.
