Publisher Description

Walter M. Lindauer, one of the defendants, was driving his automobile in an easterly direction on University avenue, a main east-west artery. The plaintiff was operating his vehicle in a westerly direction on the same street when Mr. Lindauer drove his car across the center line into a stream of approaching traffic, causing a collision with the plaintiffs car. Two other automobiles were also involved in the accident. One of them was driven by the defendant, Robert J. Omernik, and the other by the defendant, Donald Helgesen. Both of the latter cars had been following the plaintiffs car immediately before the accident. The Omernik car hit the rear of the plaintiffs auto, and the Helgesen vehicle hit the rear of the Omernik car.
