What took countless millennia to build takes only a couple of generations to destroy. Planet Gon is experiencing a strange phenomenon--Global Cooling. Its inhabitants, the Gagababas, with their insatiable appetite for energy, have polluted the environment without considering its long-term, negative impacts. Now the planet is about to take its revenge. The only one who can prevent the impending catastrophe is an erstwhile king, Papadon, who once led the Gagababas to the planet. However, Papadon has grown old. Can he still find the strength and mettle in him to save the planet and the Gagababas before the time runs out This story is intended to raise the awareness of young readers to the topic of global warming and its enormous threat to mankind.
