Django Harte's devotion to the animals in his care has made The Ark the place to adopt cats and dogs (and the occasional pot-bellied pig, goat, or macaw). When the Whelan brothers show up to get yet another pit bull, Django refuses. He'd discovered that the trio run an illegal dogfight operation in a nearby rural county.
