THE ASSOCIATION The seventy-first annual meeting of the Southern Historical Association will be held Wednesday through Saturday, November 2-6, 2005, in Atlanta, with the Westin Peachtree Plaza serving as the headquarters hotel. The opening session will be an address by Congressman John Lewis. Ch[??]les Joyner's presidential address, to be delivered on Thursday night, is entitled" A Region in Harmony: Southern Music and the Soundtrack of Freedom."
