Private investigator Mika Chalmers has no chance to decide whether or not she wants to start dating Eric Foresburg again with a murder on her desk. Georgie Howie, enforcer of the Irvine Buccaneers and Eric's teammate is the prime suspect in the murder of cross-town rival Dave Probst. He hires Mika to prove his innocence, but Mika is only after the truth.
