Made in Loco Fiber Art

The project was born from the idea of sharing reseau (network) and reso (in the sense of “giving back”), since the artist’s residency is intended not only as the presence of the artist in a precise context, but as a moment for growth and exchange between subjects and places.  It is the occasion in which relationships, visions and values are created, intensified and deposited.  Making residency available to the artist represents a moment of growth and comparison even for the artist him/herself since it is tied to the direct experience in the host territory. During her residency, the artist Paola Besana, chosen by the project’s Scientific Committee, participated in meetings, seminars, laboratories and study-visits contributing to reviving the relationships with the new generations.

The presence of the artist gave one the possibility of following the creative process and the relationship with the artisan production, through film clips and images.  The film clips, images and sketches were at the centre of the exhibition, together with the creation of the works, organized in the open and closed areas of “Le Costantine” Foundation.
