Publisher Description

In a small, normally cold, village amidst the forests and mountains, things are hotting up. It seems that it's going to be one of those kinds of summers.

A lone wolf stalks the forest, unfortunately gifted with the ability to speak and the desire to be accepted. Beyoncé Bainbridge is on a one-girl campaign to get her first pony. Teenager Abigail Harrison is bored out of her mind and stifled almost beyond hope.

In this attempt to explain how stupid (or selfish) a young girl can be when faced with a wolf-in-grandma's-clothing, The Vicar of Dibley meets Arthur Miller's The Crucible. While the village descends into a heat induced frenzy of hysteria (not to mention kissing each other on both cheeks while saying ciao) Bob Bainbridge, Beyoncé's long suffering father, enlists the help of Reverend Blast to calm the heated minds and sensibilities of the villagers before they become permanently frayed.

This is, of course, easier said than done and when it finally appears that at least the metaphorical dust has settled, Bob's own family are drawn into the drama. It certainly is one of those summers and one that looks set to reveal some big surprises. Brothers Grimm - fasten your seat-belts.
