SALT ROAD

The ancient Salt Road winds its way through the lofty mountains of Sichuan, Hubei and Hunan like a blood vessel. Several paths converge into main roads, commonly known collectively as the "Salt Road". In the past, these ancient roads were extremely prosperous in the remote mountains.

The salt carriers and their ancestors have been carrying salt for generations; they trek the long and dangerous mountain roads with a strong, unyielding spirit and devil-may-care attitude, struggling against fate.
