Publisher Description

Appellant, Leswin Edgardo Tabora, waived his right to trial by jury and pleaded no contest to the felony offense of intoxication assault. Punishment was assessed by the trial court at five years' imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice - Institutional Division. In three issues presented for review, appellant complains he was erroneously admonished as to the consequences of his plea, he received ineffective assistance of counsel, and the State failed to introduce sufficient evidence to support the judgment. We affirm the trial court's judgment.
