The House Guest

Aspiring chef Brett Novak isn't having much luck. Living on her dad's porch and nursing a broken heart, she jumps at the chance to work at a high-end restaurant on Cape Cod.

But when Brett arrives on the Cape, she finds the position has been filled - and the only other option is a job as a personal chef to famous author Carson Smart and his glamorous wife, Vera, which she readily accepts. Sure, Carson is bit of a creep and Vera is downright terrifying - not to mention their two XL Bully dogs - but it's roof over her head, in a luxurious beach-house, and a $20,000 payout.

Soon, though, Brett finds herself at the centre of a highly charged, potentially dangerous, situation, as both Carson and Vera compete for her attention while the tension between them mounts. It's clear that Brett is just a pawn in a twisted game she doesn't know the rules to, and that not everyone may survive...
