Convinced that Milo is the culprit, Allie shuts down further communication completely—until two years later, when Milo and a filmmaker friend arrive at her new workplace, an arctic research station, to film a documentary. Their old flame immediately reignites, but for a relationship to work, trust must be rebuilt. Louis makes the road to happily ever after wonderfully entertaining, complete with snappy prose and characters it's easy to emotionally invest in. This is a charmer.
