Thomas E. Ladner & James Hyden v. State Texas

This is an appeal from a jury verdict finding Appellants, Thomas E. Ladner, James M. Hyden, and Billy Ray Horton, guilty of murder. The jury assessed Ladners punishment at 28 years imprisonment, Hydens punishment at 14 years imprisonment, and Hortons punishment at 10 years imprisonment. Appellants were indicted separately but their cases were consolidated for trial. Thomas E. Ladners and James M. Hydens appeals have been consolidated in this opinion as Hyden adopted Appellant Ladners brief which brings 33 points of error.
