Turkish Delight

It was through no fault of her own that Lady Louisa Darwen had spent most of her formative years in the harem of the Grand Seraglio at Constantinople, and from the moment young, unconventional Louisa enters London Society for her first Season, the genteel equilibrium of the higher classes begins to go seriously awry. Eastern-raised Louisa has her own ideas of what she wants—and finding a husband is not (so she thinks) among them. As the Season progresses, the confusions and misunderstandings increase, plots thicken, and well-laid schemes come to sinister fruition, as Louisa begins to realize that perhaps there are still a few things the Turkish harem didn't teach her—and the most unsuitable man might be exactly the husband she wants.
