Keely James is country music's sweetheart, with a platinum record and a tour stretching across North America. Beau Campbell (Colt from AT WHIT'S END brother) is a ranch hand who's always dreamed of playing guitar and, until life pulled them in different directions, was once Keely's childhood friend/neighbor.

Years later, he stumbles into her world again after seeing her singing on a social media live stream and joining in from his own account. Their duets go viral, and fans ship them hard, demanding more. Her label takes note. Suddenly, he's invited on tour. Not just to perform, but to play the role of her fake boyfriend to drive ticket sales and keep the buzz going.

At first, it's just a gig. Pretend handholding, steamy duets on stage, shared interviews, and carefully staged paparazzi photos. But living in such close quarters on the tour bus-with all the late-night writing sessions, whispered confessions, long stretches of highway with nothing to do but talk-has them realizing their connection and chemistry are anything but fake. Heartbroken and tail-tucked, Beau returns to his hometown only to discover just how relatable the expression "you can't go home" really is. And when he catches her on a live stream playing a new song-one that makes it clear the feelings between them weren't one-sided-Beau races to the final performance of her tour. In a defiant onstage moment (not knowing Beau's in the audience), Keely tells the truth. Rather than ruin her, her authenticity strengthens her bond with her fans and reunites her with Beau for good.
