It was another lovely summer’s day in Truthtown, the capital city of the Freedom States empire.The world was a wonderful place, normally, but on this day Maximus Publicus, a senator, was in a hurry, he had to get to the Senate buildings quickly before the next vote on the proposals to extend the nations credit.The Freedom States were broke, the government was nearly out of money.
