We Have Today

Yadera Onoh wants only one thing: two more weeks with the man she loves.

Shattered after the death of her fiancé Kobi and desperate for closure, Yadera signs up for Revive, a controversial programme where the dead can be temporarily resurrected. Just long enough for Yadera to connect with Kobi one last time. Just long enough to finally let him go.

But the Revival goes catastrophically wrong and it isn’t Kobi who emerges from the pod but Riochi, his best friend, and the man Yadera holds responsible for her fiancé’s death. Bound by the rules of the programme, they must now spend two weeks together navigating their unresolved history. For Yadera that means confronting uncomfortable truths about her relationship with Kobi, while Riochi must struggle to make the most of the second chance at life he never expected. And a lot can happen in two weeks…

Tender, witty, and deeply emotional, We Have Today is a gorgeous meditation on how love and grief change the stories we tell, and the courage it takes to desire again.
