Winter's Promise

Elizabeth Bennet has wrung a promise from Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy upon which rests not only her own happiness, but that of her dear sister, Jane, as well. If he does not speak to Mr. Bingley on Jane's behalf, Elizabeth will know that he has not changed his disagreeable ways and she can push all memories hopes of what could have been far from her heart. 

But Elizabeth is once again surprised in her secret garden, and while she overhears a conversation that could change everything, she must decide how much of her heart to compromise... and how much of her honor to wager on a promise made as winter approaches.
