Writer's Choice Shorts 'Eggs for Supper‪'‬

1644 and the Royalist Cavaliers - the king's men - have arrived in Ruth's community. They are hunting Roundheads - Oliver Cromwell's soldiers - and their sympathisers. Ruth's father is away with Cromwell's army and her family are Roundhead sympathisers. Her brothers - aged 12 and 14 - might be thought old enough to fight. The Royalists are capturing and killing young men. When they turn up at the farm can Ruth overcome her fears and save her brothers?
