You Think You Know, But You Have No Idea

Candi Thomas is a 26 year old working woman and College student who is currently studying to obtain her Master's Degree in Business, with a Minor in Criminal Justice.  When her friend's actions and her outside life threaten to be revealed to her family, she is willing to go to any limits to keep this from happening.  See she's a good girl in her family's eyes, and she's more than determined to stop bad things about her from making it to them, especially her mother and sister.


She has two best friends, Monae (Mo) and Zanae (Nae) who are the two who know about the wild and crazy life Candi is living.  They are the only two who Candi can trust, or are they?  Candi and her two besties share all their secrets with each other, but only time will reveal the truth about them.


Candi meets this great guy named, Dre which made it a lot easier for her to get over her lying, cheating ex-boyfriend Jay.  But is Dre really who he says he is?  When things starts to be revealed about Candi will she be able to handle them?  Will Candi be able to control the situation?  Or will her outside life finally come back to haunt her and her Mother and sister finally find out the truth? 


Author Bio: Born Toccara Shne't Burrell James, from Maywood, Illinois.   A strong, modest and hard-working mother of two boys is what I've become.  I'm someone who is mature, candid and believes in great values and morals.  Upon graduating High School with high honors, I attended Triton College where I earned my licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician.  I also received my degree in Criminal Justice, graduating with a 3.9 G.P.A out of a possible 4.0, and was inducted to Phi Theta Kappa's Honor Society.  I'm a person who has always set high expectations for myself.  I am confident in my ability to meet and exceed these expectations in my lifetime.   I have always been really close with my family, they hold me together.  I know if no one has my back, my family is and will always be there for me.  I have been said to be too caring for others who don't care for me, but that's the kind of person I am.  I know God will send me my blessings so I have nothing to worry about.  I'm committed to building something larger and put aside personal gain for the well-being of others.  I'm a person who wants to be judged, not based on my skin color or what others may feel about me but based on my actions and contributions.  I love to help and inspire others to be great in life.  I am consistently growing and I plan on continuing to make myself a better person every day.  With God's help, I will continue to build a strong foundation for my children's future.  A great Mother, Daughter, Sister, Cousin, Niece, Grand Daughter and Friend, that's me.
