Publisher Description

An Apple Books Classics edition.

What would it be like to live by the rules of your true, wild nature? Follow the adventures of Buck, a giant St. Bernard mix who is stolen from a ranch in California and sold as a sled dog in the lawless, Gold Rush-era Klondike. As he encounters the violence of men and other animals, Buck quickly realizes he must ditch his manners and tap into his wild instincts if he wants to survive. Can Buck answer the call of the wild? With moments of heart-wrenching brutality, Jack London’s most famous novel has snared readers since 1903.

Admiration and inspiration

It was really great reading this one, the way it treated animals as humans with deeper feelings than the ones we already know was something special , although i was kinda lost with the track and kept going back and forth on the pages ... but it has given me a real inspiration in spite of that
