APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Plato’s The Republic looks daunting, but once we dove in we found it to be remarkably readable—and amazingly relevant. This landmark philosophical tract may have been written 2395 years ago, but it grapples with some very modern quandaries: What makes a society ethical? What defines a citizen? Is wealth always a corrupting influence? The Greek intellectual’s enduring masterpiece is a must-read for anyone engaged in politics, urban affairs or the complex art of being human.

I have never thought that reading philosophy from the start i.e. the classics Would be that much of fun and informative!
the book is so good regarding that it has been written 2300 Years ago!
Socrates nevertheless a true character or just an idea of Plato, isca genius, and despite of course we don’t approve upon all of his hypotheses, but it remains the first and eternal dialectic that will have shape to the western philosophy for years to come!
A book I recommend to any philosophy enthusiast.
