Aaron Bank : The Father Of The Green Berets

Entering the Army at the advanced age of 37, Aaron Bank would lead a group of Special Forces into southern France and take down several Nazi units before the Allied invasion liberated the entire country. 

Later, he would be part of "Operation Iron Cross", leading a group of former German POWs into Berlin in an attempt to assassinate Hitler. This book chronicles the events leading up to the proposed attack and the formation of the Green Berets.
