Adventure Thailand

Adventure Thailand is the first in what I am calling my Adventure Series. It is not so much a travel book, but rather a book about life that includes travel. I want to write about my observations, insights and the things that I learn on my journeys and adventures to exotic and foreign lands. 

If you are planning a trip to Thailand, you will find some useful and helpful sections about getting around, mistakes that I made and sights that I have seen that you might like to make a note about. My intention is not to write an info packed anthology like The Lonely Planet. You won't find in-depth guides with opening and closing times, or prices or a list of restaurants or places to stay, other than information related to my trip.

I want to keep it very informal and light. I want to put down my thoughts as I walk the streets, smell the air, and taste the food. 

If you're not intending any time soon to travel to Thailand, it will still be a great read. I include lots of photos I’ve taken myself, and I want to go into great detail, about my observations and feelings so that you might be able to get a sense that you're right here with me. 

Sometimes you may read bits in the present tense, these are parts that I wrote while on my Adventure. Other parts may be in the past tense as I reflect or polish up things I had not yet finished.
