Art is my Religion

Art is born when we descend into deep waters, towards darkness, when we delve into emotions such as sadness, when we descend towards depression, where we mold our consciousness. There we search for light to have our creativity sprout and we seek for the wisdom of our Creator. Akin the gestation process, in which we find ourselves in a dark space, clothed by the womb. Or like the voyage we walk though trying to conquer our promised land, our soul, feeling seduced to unveil ourselves and reveal our spirit in order to know it. It is when the truth has reached us and takes us back home, to our roots, where we do through art the path of reconstruction, a creative process that religates us to our existence, offering us a purpose closer to our destiny. It is when we are invited to "Know yourself" in order to know Creation. From that process of descent and regression, of the conception of a life project, my voice is born: ART is my RELIGION. ©
