Connor O'Day hadn't always wanted to be in the mob.

Growing up poor had put him in the right places, though. Being Irish, in his neighborhood, had put him in with the right crowd.

Now someone new is in town, and recruiting, and Connor sees an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a newer, bigger organization.

He's surprised to find a woman responsible for his "interview," though, and for interviewing two others with him.

Her methods are unorthodox, and Connor's going to be in for a world of hurt if he doesn't submit.
