Batá Play Along (Aggayú‪)‬

Batá drum rhythms - Oru Seco -, originally created for Yoruba religious rituals, can be played for purely artistic or entertainment purposes, resulting in a good exercise of technique and musicality.


In this interactive book you will find the video scores of one of the 22 different rhythms that make up the Batá Play Along collection.


To facilitate learning and practice, each rhythms is presented in full format (three drums together), followed by the scores of each drum separately where the corresponding audio is muted to play over the tracks of the other two drums (play along).
