Introduction Many students who attend higher education classes, as well as those who participate in continuing education programs, attend with the idea that "Here I am, fill me up!" These individuals do not wish to be active participants in the learning process. However, the lecture/listen process is not the most appropriate way for learning to occur, especially for the students of today. Instructors are often compared to television shows and computer programs where the actual material has been processed and worked until all the errors, snafus, or bloopers have been removed. This is impossible to do in a live class at any level. However, students seem to desire to be entertained.
