Photographer Bald, Lord's husband, documents the experience of caring for these rabbits, named Benjamin and Peggotty, before they are adopted. Living in a foster home comes with unfamiliar tastes for the rabbits, such as banana treats. And an unexpected development occurs for the humans when Peggotty gives birth to four babies, two of which survive and "kept growing and growing and growing!"
