In the spring of 2013, Alexandre and Anabela hoisted their backpacks and set foot on the thousand-year-old Camino de Santiago. However, treading the 500-mile pilgrimage route that stretches out between the French village of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and Santiago de Compostela went way beyond their expectations.
