Descripción editorial

1. After a jury trial, Wanda Clark was convicted of two counts of felonious child abuse and sentenced on each count to eighteen years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections, with six years suspended, to run concurrently. See Miss. Code Ann. § 97-5-39(2)(a) (Rev. 2006). On appeal, Clark argues that the trial court erred by: (1) denying her motion for a mistrial based on the courts comments to the victim; (2) admitting the testimony of an employee of the Mississippi Department of Human Services; (3) excluding defense exhibits; and (4) refusing her "theory of the case" jury instruction. Finding no error, we affirm.
