Crushed

I never thought love was something I could ever have. At one point I had been fooled with some version of it—lust wrapped up in a package resembling love—but when I met Alex I realized everything I ever felt for anyone before was just a cheap imitation. What I had with him was new, exciting, authentic. For the first time in my life I saw a future for myself that included someone else.
