Crystal Notes

The revivalism of the Third Great Awakening in the 19th century created an alliance between evangelical Protestants and the prohibition movement. This collection of nearly 100 tunes and hymn texts is intended for use in "every phase of the temperance work." A selection of quartets, duets and solos is also included, some of which are intended for male singers—an important demographic in the prohibition fight.
