One morning, Emma woke up startled when she heard very loud knocks on the window glass... Who could it be? Emma rubbed her eyes, looked at the window... And she saw that it was Pipo, her little yellow bird friend.

What had happened? Every day the little bird woke her up singing. But that morning Pipo wasn't singing. Instead, he didn't stop fluttering around, nervous, pecking at the window.
