Fight for Your Life

The first flash-fiction story in the e-book FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE by Erica Browner is called "Me or Her." Martha, who is Carmen's mother, summons her to a creepy house off the beaten path. Once inside the house, she receives an ominous message from her mother, followed by a mysterious figure who thrusts her into a twisted game of survival. The second story, "Dance in the Forest," is about Milani, a first-time babysitter. Milani planned on using her charms to win Molly and Jack over for a perfect night, but two burglars shattered her plans and put her charm and survival instincts to the test. In the final story "Walk Away," Cherry sits in a car on the side of the road with Blake, her husband. Blake has stolen her world, and she unleashes her pent-up frustration. Her deep-seated loyalty and the hope that he will change kept her trapped.
