Fascinating book
Well worth reading especially for expats and , perhaps for the occasional spanish person who cares about an external view of their country.
There are a number of surprises, not least about the King. The stories of Spanish neighbors and of the hitler Portrait are both hair raising and true.
The advantage, and disadvantage, is that each chapter reads like a summary of a separate book covering a single aspect of Spain today and sometimes one would like a lot more.
All in all it is a unique overview - well worth reading.
