X-rays remain one of the fundamental diagnostic tools available to the chiropractor and Gonstead technique does not recommend practising without access to radiographic imaging equipment or quality images that adhere to specific constants required for accurate and repeatable Gonstead analysis. Book 7 presents the AP and lateral x-ray acquisition procedures and analysis of the spine and pelvis, and also extremities. Given the incidence of malformation in the spine and pelvis, advanced x-ray analytical techniques are also presented so that the practitioner is fully equipped to correctly list a potential subluxation.
