Guard Beers tells his story to recorders of memories involving his life on Mars a cloned planet of Earth of suffering greatly growing up because he was born a bastard and raised by a family that ridiculed him his whole life. At his mother's death it is revealed that he is not a mere bastard, but the illegitimate son of royalty the son of King of Mahalia. How will his life change now? Can it get better or perhaps terribly worse than it had been? Guard becomes king after a disaster hits his father which he discovers sinister purposes behind the scenes manipulating him and his life as King.
