Holy Darkness

Sophie's liturgies tackle life head on with all of its brokenness, injustice, struggles, hopes and fears. Holy Darkness is an apt title - God is found in dark and difficult places, not just when life is sweet. It helps to have some prayers to voice when we are in that dark place ourselves. Sophie got involved in alternative worship with Visions in York which was a great context in which to cultivate her creative writing. Holy Darkness is part of the Proost Pocket Liturgies series.
