Ken and Lu repurchased land cheated from his grandfather, and plan to live happily ever after. But their dream is cut short when a shot-down alien space probe crashes on their property, badly injuring Ken and apparently killing Lu. Ken must fight desperately to keep them both alive against impossible odds, while government agents close in.

Even as he struggles, Lu exhibits strange behaviors, and Ken must choose between saving his beloved wife who is becoming part alien, and protecting the entire planet from what might be a dire threat.
