It's a story about reinvention, finding your place in a new world and cracking a case that transcends societal boundaries. 

I was hooked within the first few lines. A great novel with the echo of the 50s black and white detective films. Long live John Evans, which ever decade he's in. Oops, I may have given away parts of book two... Natacha Cohen SNRBS
