Descripción editorial
Joseph Beck is once again put to the test in the face of danger. This time it comes in the form of a teenage jumper, Paul Garland, perched on the fifteenth-floor ledge. Joe responds to the call from his police scanner and rushes to the scene. But as he arrives, he realizes that there is much more at play here than just a simple jumper.
Joe senses that there is something deeper going on with Paul and feels a strong connection to him. As he tries to talk Paul down from the ledge, he delves deeper into Paul's psyche and discovers that there are secrets of the spirit realm at play.
As he grapples with these revelations, Joe begins to question everything about his own abilities and what his future holds. He wonders if his gift of sensing the supernatural is a blessing or a curse. The more he interacts with Paul, the more he realizes that this situation is not just about saving a life, but also about confronting his own demons.
NOTE: Jumper is a short story that, chronologically, falls after the full-length novel, Average Joe, but before the Roseland Chronicles books, The Gravedigger and (the upcoming book), Heart Condition.
